Waterstock is an Oxfordshire village on the River Thame and is about four and a half miles west of the market town of Thame.
The village is on the minor road north of the A418 and surrounded by farm land, there about fifty houses in the village and along one of the main streets is a farm.
The village is also home to the Waterstock Golf Club on the Thame Road, Waterstock, Horton-Cim-Studley. There is a bar there but they do not serve real ale and the bar is only open to members.
Waterstock has a church in the village, St Leonard, 25 Littleworth Road, Wheatley which is a grade 2 listed building. The listing date was 5th June 1985.
The village is around nine and half miles from Oxford itself and will take on average twenty-one minutes or so to drive there on the A40 passing Wheatley, Holton, Forest Hill and through Headington.
You will not find a huge amount to do in Waterstock but there is plenty close by including the Bernwood Butterfly Trail, great for all the family with open spaces, woodland and plenty of fresh air.
